Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of production or manufacturing experience.
• One to three years of team lead or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Ability to read production schedules, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and basic computer programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead second shift independently and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production employees throughout the assigned shift.
• Coordinate daily work assignments based on production priorities.
• Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and employee performance.
• Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met.
• Identify workflow problems and help minimize production delays.
• Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Complete shift reports, production records, and ERP/MRP system updates.
• Enforce PPE requirements, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready work areas using 5S practices.
• Assist with employee training, coaching, and development.
• Support Lean, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement projects.
• Communicate production status, concerns, and priorities during shift handoffs.
