Job summary

ORBIS Corporation seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a high-volume manufacturing team in Mentor, OH. You’ll be actively on the floor, driving safety, quality, and productivity while solving real-time problems and coaching associates.

Responsibilities include guiding staffing, capacity planning, and cross-functional process improvements, with SAP and MS Office supporting daily operations. Strong leadership and 3+ years of supervisor experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities with safety, quality, and productivity focus.
• Be an active hands-on leader on the production floor.
• Support processes, equipment, and product flow to meet schedules.
• Drive KPIs: safety, quality, machine and labor efficiency, on-time delivery.
• Balance operations with coaching, development and engagement.
• Support capacity planning and staffing to meet demand.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
• Provide staffing, training, performance management guidance.
• Support forklift operators and production associates for safe operations.
• Make informed decisions using critical thinking and accountability.
• Oversee timekeeping, attendance, vacation approvals, scheduling.
• Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office to support daily operations.
