Loyola Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Transitional Care Unit (32 beds) on a part-time, rotating-evenings PRN shift. The unit serves Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic and Cardiac patients 18+. Expected to build relationships with patients on their road to recovery during 2–3 week stays.

We require a BSN, BLS certification, and Illinois RN license prior to hire. Competitive benefits and residency programs are available to support professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• BSN diploma from an accredited school.
• BLS provider certification required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.
• RN on Transitional Care Unit providing care to adults 18+ with various diagnoses.

Aufgaben

• Provide nursing care on a 32-bed Transitional Care Unit for adult patients 18+.
• Build relationships with patients during average 2–3 week length of stay.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and post-acute care.
