The 32-bed unit specializes in Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic, and Cardiac care for patients 18 and older, with typical stays of 2–3 weeks, offering meaningful connections on the road to recovery.

Qualifications

• BSN Diploma from an accredited school; Illinois RN license required before hire.
• BLS certification required prior to hire.
• Registered Nurse with commitment to providing exceptional care for stroke, neurological, transplant, orthopedic, and cardiac patients ages 18+.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care on the Transitional Care Unit.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for diverse diagnoses.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth patient transitions.
• Engage with patients and families to support recovery and education.
