Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Prep Cook to support the culinary team in providing a restaurant-style dining experience for residents. You will prepare meals, ensure proper temperatures and plating, interact with residents, and maintain cleanliness and inventories.

The role emphasizes a learner mindset, strong organization, and the ability to manage priorities while following regulatory requirements. Evening shifts and daily pay are available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals per Bickford menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve meals timely, at correct temperatures and plated.
• Follow Bickford's meal service processes during service.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room to enhance dining.
• Wash dishes and pots following the kitchen procedures.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Use Meal Order Information to track diets, allergies, and preferences.
• Maintain food service records per regulatory and policy standards.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Keep kitchen and dining area clean to regulatory standards.
• Ensure Bistro/Beverage Bar is stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
