You will maintain a clean, organized work area and collaborate with the team to ensure timely, high-quality food preparation. The position requires at least 1 year in a commercial kitchen, the ability to work evenings and weekends, and a CA Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a commercial kitchen or related environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.
• Must be able to follow written recipes and production schedules.
• California Food Handler Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cut, chop, mix, and cook food according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Clean and sanitize prep areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Receive, inspect, and store deliveries; rotate inventory (FIFO).
• Monitor product quality and report shortages or spoilage.
