Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Evening Controls Technician at the Kansas City, KS facility. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues on production equipment, use ladder logic with Allen-Bradley RSLogix, and document repairs in the EAM system.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of related experience, an Associate’s degree in a technical field, and can obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.

Qualifications

• 2-years experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards and service needs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues; implement repairs.
• Use ladder logic with Allen Bradley RSLogix 500/5000; document repairs in EAM.
• Maintain backups of PLC and control programs.
• Set up servo controls and VFD operations; troubleshoot Servo/Motor drives.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements.
• Record set points and parameters accurately.
