Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Evening Controls Technician at our Kansas City, KS facility. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems, perform repairs, and update PLC programs to improve production reliability.

Expect training on day shift for up to two months, then transition to evenings. The role offers health insurance from day one, paid time off, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with opportunities to contribute to plant improvements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate's degree in a technical-related field.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems on production equipment.
• Repair equipment and implement PLC programming changes for reliability.
• Operate and document work using the EAM system.
• Maintain backups of programs and document set-points and parameters.
