Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Plant Production Shift Supervisor in Methuen, MA to lead printing, die-cutting, finishing, and folder-gluer lines in a fast-paced, 24/7 facility. You will coach operators, enforce safety standards, monitor quality, reduce scrap, and drive uptime and continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor.

Hours include rotating shifts, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in folding carton or similar manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of printing, die-cutting, finishing and folder-gluer equipment.
• Proven ability to coach staff, drive uptime, and lead continuous improvement.

This opportunity offers hands-on operational leadership in a 24/7 facility, working with advanced printing, die-cutting, and folder-gluer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations across printing, die-cutting, finishing, and folder-gluer production lines
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct shift briefings, and maintain a safe work environment
• Monitor product quality, reduce scrap, and ensure finished cartons meet customer specifications
• Coach and develop production employees while driving efficiency, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 3-7 years of manufacturing supervisory experience, preferably within folding carton, corrugated, packaging, or print production environments
• Knowledge of sheet-fed presses, die-cutters, folder-gluers, and related manufacturing equipment
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and team development skills
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in a technical or business field is a plus

Hours: Rotating shift schedule in a 24/7 manufacturing environment; may include evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
