Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Completion of phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification may be required.
• Valid state driver’s license and vehicle insurance may be needed.
• Willing to cover multiple locations and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receipt blood specimens, ensuring patient identification and specimen integrity.
• Label, aliquot, and transport specimens to the proper analytical areas.
• Enter data into the lab computer system and assist with quality checks.
• Support billing/documents and monitor workflow for efficiency.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and professional communication with patients and staff.
