Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Fingerprinting certification may be required.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required and travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection with correct patient and specimen ID.
• Enter demographics, tests requested, and collection data into the system.
• Prepare samples for testing and deliver to the appropriate area.
• Support quality and cost-control initiatives and comply with HIPAA.
