Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories in Sun City West, Arizona seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. This role covers various hours across locations including Hospital Facility, PSC, in-office, or mobile services, with weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, entry of patient data, sample processing, and adherence to HIPAA and Code of Conduct. Prior phlebotomy training and certification are preferred; new grads welcome with base pay starting at $19/hour.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays.
• High School diploma or equivalent may be required depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection with correct patient identification across ages.
• Enter and verify demographics and test orders; ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain quality and adhere to procedures; prepare reports for QA.
• Assist in departmental financial responsibilities and reduce waste.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers; work across locations.
• Follow HIPAA and privacy guidelines.
