Job summary

Qualifications

Phlebotomy program completion or equivalent phlebotomy experience.
Phlebotomy certification as per state regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent; DHS fingerprinting may be required.
Valid state driver’s license and ability to travel to mobile labs/locations.
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Specimen collection and receipt into the department with proper patient identification.
Enter requisitions data and verify accuracy for processing and billing.
Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to the correct area.
Maintain specimen integrity and comply with HIPAA and QA standards.
Assist in workflow and support mobile/onsite locations as needed.
