Job summary

TriHealth’s Good Samaritan Hospital Lab in Cincinnati seeks a Phlebotomist for the Evening Shift. You will collect specimens from diverse age groups, support diagnostic testing, and act as a liaison between the lab and customers.

You may also assist with order entry and compliance documentation to ensure smooth processing. You should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience; phlebotomy training on hire is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy training upon hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimen integrity and correct patient identification.
• Document information within required timeframes.
• Maintain accuracy in all steps of collection.
• Handle complex tasks and take initiative as needed.
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and sample handling protocols.
