Job summary

Labcorp in Linden, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, and enter patient data accurately.

This role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to travel to additional sites as needed; pay ranges from $17.75 to $24.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.
• 6 months or more phlebotomy experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
