Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacy operations during the evening shift.

Under a pharmacist preceptor, you will stock, label, dispense medications, help patients and staff, manage inventory, and ensure accurate billing and records in accordance with TX Board of Pharmacy rules. No prior experience required; HS Diploma or GED accepted, with on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• TX Board of Pharmacy license as Pharmacy Tech (PHT) or intern license.

Responsibilities

• Stock, prepare, label, dispense and deliver medications.
• Assist patients and staff under pharmacist supervision.
• Answer calls and coordinate with team to resolve issues.
• Maintain inventory and perform drug purchasing and ordering.
• Enter orders and ensure correct billing and formulary compliance.
• Maintain clean, sterile work area and equipment.
