Qualifications

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and labeling standards.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions and flowchart protocols.
• Ability to sort, count and verify numbers.
• Ability to follow safety, infection control and isolation practices.
• Excellent social skills to interact with patients and staff.
• General computer skills including EMR, data entry, email.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications and maintain a specialized area under supervision.
• Enter medication orders and ensure correct dispensing and billing data.
• Complete paperwork to secure payment and delivery of pharmacy supplies.
• Coordinate drug recall and inventory control, including stock checks.
• Deliver medications to patients and transport carts to floors as needed.
