Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Michigan.
• 6 months of job-related experience or completion of a pharmacy technician-training program.
• Trained in age-specific categories (neonate to geriatric).
• Ability to operate office equipment and pharmacy software.

Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense medications under supervision.
• Dispense IV additives and prepare IV admixtures as required.
• Replenish medications in crash carts and floor stock accurately.
• Fill bottles, capsules, and other forms per prescription.
• Data entry of orders into the pharmacy computer system.
