Rate of Pay: $19.20 to $23.82 plus 7.25% shift premium = $20.59 to $25.54 based on experience
Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmaceutical Services or a Registered Pharmacist - and according to the standard procedures - compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving prescriptions from physicians or other qualified prescribes, dispenses additives for IV and irrigation solutions, mixes IV additive solutions as required using aseptic technique, with the laminar flow hood, types labels, prepares and files charge slips, and performs other related duties.
Required Qualifications:
Possess 6 months of job-related experience or completion of a pharmacy technician-training program or currently enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy.
Trained and educated in age-specific categories being served: neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Ability to operate office related equipment (computer terminal).
