Job summary
BrightSpring Health Services through PharMerica is hiring a full-time Pharmacist for a non-retail, long-term care setting in Horsham, PA. You will review orders, optimize therapy, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
The role includes a Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:00pm schedule with every other weekend, a $2.50/hr shift differential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision, HSA/FSAs, tuition discounts, 401(k), PTO,
Qualifications
- State pharmacist license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year in long-term care is desirable.
- Knowledge of CMS, DEA, FDA regulations.
- Experience with pharmacy information systems.
Responsibilities
- Review medication orders for appropriateness and dosing.
- Provide recommendations to physicians and staff.
- Maintain resident profiles with medications and labs.
- Ensure monitoring tests for high-risk meds are ordered.
- Collaborate with care team to support therapy.
- Document interventions in medical records.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety procedures.
