Job summary

Wallick Communities is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide compassionate daily care to residents at Oakleaf Village in Toledo, Ohio. This part-time role runs from 3pm to 11pm, with a pay rate of $16/hour plus shift differential.

The ideal candidate will be organized, capable of respectful communication, and CPR certified, with prior experience in assisted living or memory care being a plus. Wallick emphasizes an employee-owned culture and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Organized and self-motivated for residents.
• CPR certification preferred; Nurse Aide certification a plus.
• Effective communication with residents, families and coworkers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily care to residents.
• Assist with hygiene, grooming, bathing and toileting.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Encourage resident involvement in activities.
• Assist residents to/from activities and dining areas.
• Assist with transferring and repositioning residents.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
