Job summary

Wallick Communities in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver to join our Wallick Senior Living team at Oakleaf Village. You will provide direct resident care and support daily activities, helping residents maintain independence and quality of life.

The role features a full-time schedule from 3pm to 11pm, pay of $16 per hour plus shift differential, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred; Nurse Aide certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provide physical resident care including bathing and toileting.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
