Job summary

Wallick Senior Living is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver for Oakleaf Village Columbus. The role offers part-time hours (3pm-11pm) at $16/hour with shift differential, providing direct resident care and support within a welcoming, employee-owned community.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and a passion for helping seniors maintain independence and quality of life. Prior Assisted Living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Organized and self-motivated to do a great job for our residents.
CPR Certification; Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members and peers.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
Provide physical resident care including bathing and toileting.
Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident/family needs.
Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
