Job summary

Wallick Senior Living in Toledo, OH is seeking a Part-time Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver for evening shifts (3pm-11pm) to provide direct resident care and support.

You will work with a team to assist residents with daily living activities, monitor safety, and encourage participation in activities. CPR certification preferred; Nurse Aide a plus. Competitive pay with shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Nurse Aide certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication with residents and families.
• Experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provide physical resident care including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Respond to call lights promptly and address resident/family needs.
• Encourage resident participation in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other events.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
