The Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Highland Park Hospital provides essential patient care on the Cardiac Medical Telemetry unit under RN/LPN supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate interactions, accurate documentation, and a focus on patient safety.

Night shift with rotating weekends, full-time or part-time options, and a welcoming team environment. CNA training and BLS are preferred, with no prerequisite experience required.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork.
• Ability to prioritize and follow directions.
• No experience required; CNA or nursing background preferred.

Responsabilités

• Interact with patients and visitors; answer call lights and phones.
• Assist in safe patient handling, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Provide basic nursing care (bathing, grooming, feeding) under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admission, discharge, transfers, and room orientation.
