Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents in a warm, home‑like environment. You will help with daily living tasks, promote safety, and build meaningful connections with residents and families while collaborating with a supportive caregiving team.

The role emphasizes resident dignity, emotional well‑being, and quality of life, with training available for CPR/BLS and opportunities for skill development in a trusted senior living community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
