Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ daily living and emotional well-being in a warm, home-like setting. You will work with a caring team to help residents feel safe, respected, and valued.

You’ll provide hands-on assistance with ADLs, monitor safety, and document changes, while fostering meaningful connections with residents and families. Training is provided, and opportunities for growth are strong.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
