Job summary

Americare Senior Living seeks a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ daily living in a warm, home‑like setting. You’ll work with a team of caregivers and nursing staff to promote safety, comfort and dignity, delivering hands‑on care and meaningful connections with residents and families.

This role requires assisting with ADLs, monitoring safety, documenting care, and maintaining privacy while contributing to a supportive, resident‑centered culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus—training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor safety and observe for distress or changes in condition.
• Document resident care and changes accurately.
• Communicate with nursing staff and fellow caregivers about resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities promoting physical, emotional and social well‑being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Support a clean, safe and welcoming living environment.
