Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents in a warm, home-like environment in St. Peters, MO. You will help with daily activities, monitor safety, and collaborate with nurses to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Friendly, patient, and positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus with training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
