Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents in Washington, MO, during the evening shift. This full‑time role pays $16.75 to $17.25 hourly and includes a $500 sign‑on bonus.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor safety, document care, and work with a caring team to promote dignity and comfort. Qualifications include being 18+, HS diploma or equivalent, and CPR/BLS training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR/BLS training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
