Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Rolla, MO is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents' daily living in a warm, home-like environment. You’ll deliver hands-on assistance that helps residents feel safe, comfortable, and respected.

You’ll work with a supportive team to provide physical and emotional care, monitor safety, document care, and contribute to a positive resident experience. Competitive pay, PTO, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus—training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
