Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton in Milton, MA is hiring a full-time Transport Aide for the Evening shift to move patients between departments and to care areas. You will support patient comfort and safety during transfers and help with equipment logistics.

Responsibilities include documenting trips in Hospital Throughput, assisting patients in/out of beds or stretchers, transporting equipment, and communicating with RNs. A High School Diploma and ability to read/write English are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from clinical areas and to appropriate care spaces.
• Document patient trips using Hospital Throughput computer program.
• Transport equipment as needed within the hospital.
• Communicate with RN or unit representatives before departure and after arrival.
• Ensure patient safety during transfers, including bed, chair, or stretcher movement.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient equipment after each trip and report issues.
