Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from Radiology and nursing floors in a courteous, timely, and safe manner.
• Place patients safely in wheelchairs or on stretchers and ensure safety during transport.
• Log patient transfers accurately and communicate with Radiology staff.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness (wheelchairs, stretchers, oxygen tanks) and report equipment issues.
• Follow emergency procedures (Code 99, Code Red) and Lahey policies; participate in quality improvement activities.
