Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Liaison - Patient Meals Services for part-time shift variation.

The role involves managing patient meal service, guiding patients through the Room Service program, and entering orders in NFS software while adhering to therapeutic diets and allergies. The position requires strong customer service, ability to follow infection prevention practices, and collaboration with nutrition and food service leadership to ensure safe, accurate, and timely meal

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ foodservice or customer service experience.
• ServSafe Food Handler and ServSafe Allergen certifications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of meal service for assigned unit(s) and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Enter meal selections into the NFS software accurately.
• Follow infection prevention guidelines and use two patient identifiers.
• Deliver meals to patients and verify diet orders and allergies.
• Assist with room service calls and maintain professional, courteous service.
