Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is hiring a Liaison - Patient Meals Services for the Evening shift (12:00pm–8:30pm) in Georgia.

This part-time role delivers meals to patients, assists with the meal ordering process, and ensures accuracy and safety in line with dietary requirements. You will enter meal selections into the NFS software, coordinate with Nutrition & Food Service management, and support unit staff to provide compassionate, efficient patient service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ foodservice, and/or customer service, and/or related experience.
• ServSafe Food Handler and ServSafe Allergen certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to communicate in English and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Healthcare or hospitality foodservice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of patient meal service for assigned unit(s) and ensures a positive patient experience.
• Enters meal selections into NFS software accurately.
• Delivers meals and snacks to patients following safety and allergy protocols.
• Serves as the liaison between patient, nursing, and dietary staff.
• Assists with call center tasks and daily reporting.
