Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s choice and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and health regulations; follow HACCP guidelines.
• Assist dietitians with patient diets and monitor information as needed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate staff promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
