The position involves evening shifts (3–11 PM) with 2–3 days per week and rotating weekends/holidays, offering opportunities in a large health system with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma is required.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Patient Access experience is preferred.
• Medical terminology experience is helpful.
• Be able to report to Oceanport, NJ for training.
• Evening shift hours vary from 3–11 PM, 2–3 days per week.
• Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to patients and all customers.
• Interviews patients or responsible parties to collect demographic and financial information for scheduling, pre-registration or registration.
• Obtains and documents all demographic and insurance information and completes insurance verification.
• Verifies authorization status when required and ensures proper documentation.
• Communicates financial responsibility and collects appropriate payments.
• Escalates issues to leadership when necessary and supports a positive environment.
