Job summary

Intuitive Health is launching a new Patient Access Advocate role in Evansville, IN. The position is part-time, non-exempt, with shifts around 11a–11p and weekend rotations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, registering and verifying demographics and insurance, collecting payments, and ensuring smooth patient flow in a healthcare setting. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in healthcare or 1 year in customer service, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm and good computer skills.
• Experience in a healthcare setting or strong customer service background preferred.
• Basic understanding of insurance verification and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and answer phones; register and verify demographics.
• Enter information into electronic health records and clerical systems.
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, and document registrations.
• Perform visit closure activities including payment collection and follow-up tasks.
• Provide wayfinding support and exceptional customer service at time of service.
• Maintain front desk cleanliness and perform light clerical duties as needed.
