Qualifications

• Maintains demographic, clinical and insurance information from data collection through data entry.
• Gather claim data in compliance with third party requirements for payment.
• Verifies benefits, calculates and collects co-pays/deductibles.

Responsibilities

• Pre-register patients in anticipation of their arrival.
• Educates customers on registration issues via phone or in person.
• Assists with payment options including Medicaid and Financial Assistance.
• Coordinates bed assignments and ADT functions.
• Escort admitted patients to rooms and complete billing signatures.
