Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Clerical/Billing experience, PC/CRT experience preferred.
• Other: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Opens mail, prepares cash batches and bank deposit, maintains logs and reconciles detail.
• Posts Accounts Receivable, Bad Debt, and General Ledger cash accurately and expeditiously.
• Researches credit balances or proper allowancing and/or refunds; processes refund requests.
• Communicates with insurance companies regarding payments and collects co-pays and deposits.
