Job summary

Benchmark at Orchard Valley is seeking a compassionate RN to join our team for evening shifts (2pm-9pm). The role includes delivering nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting, working with a supportive team, and building lasting relationships with residents and peers.

Qualified candidates hold a state LPN license with CPR certification and have 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably with the elderly.

Qualifications

• Current state LPN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly residents is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports changes in resident health to care team per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead Resident Care Assistants in their duties.
• Coordinates care needs with providers via case management process.
• Balances service demands with resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses personal emergency response system as needed.
