Job summary

The Village at White River Junction, part of Benchmark Senior Living, seeks a compassionate LPN to join our team for evening shifts (3pm-11pm) in a warm, home-like environment. You will provide nursing care to residents and collaborate with a dedicated care team to maintain quality elder care.

Candidates should hold a current LPN license with CPR certification and have 1–2 years of experience; familiarity with elderly care is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health to the care team.
• Directs and supervises daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead Resident Care Assistants in their roles.
• Coordinates care with community providers via case management processes.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or neglect per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency systems.
