Job summary
UAB Medicine is seeking a part-time RN to provide care using the nursing process, educate patients, and promote health and safety. The role requires current RN licensure in Alabama, BLS, and a nursing degree; ACLS/PALS may be needed depending on unit.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as an RN in Alabama.
- BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
- ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on the unit.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process with health teaching and counseling.
- Assess patient needs using the AACN Synergy Model.
- Delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care for patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, podiatry and dentists as part of the care team.
