Job summary

The Stritch Family Literacy Center at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee is seeking a part-time Master Teacher to provide evening instruction and direct student assessment using the CLIFFTOP intervention model at UWM's Children’s Learning Center. Duties include documentation, family communication, and progress reporting.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree and Wisconsin teaching certification; literacy intervention experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Wisconsin Teaching Certification or equivalent required.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• 80% – assess students, analyze data, write assessment-based intervention plans and progress reports shared with families.
• 15% – communicate with families about scheduling, student reports, and weekly home extensions.
• 5% – actively participate in initial and ongoing professional development.
