DJ's Landscape Management in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Part‑Time Junior Fleet Mechanic to join our team and support fleet mechanics with mower and equipment repairs. This role runs Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and includes duties such as oil changes, blade sharpening, equipment washing, and maintaining shop cleanliness.

Qualifications

• One or more years of repair and diagnostic experience with small engines required.
• Experience working with landscaping equipment preferred.
• General knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist fleet mechanics with mower and equipment repairs.
• Perform oil changes and lubrication tasks.
• Replace and sharpen mower blades as needed.
• Wash and clean equipment to maintain appearance and function.
• Support overall shop cleanliness and organization.
