Bancroft is hiring a Part Time Direct Support Professional (evening shift) in Dumont, NJ. You will support individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, implementing behavioral plans and assisting with daily living tasks.

Requires 18+ years old, HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license and driving experience, plus relevant experience or enrollment in psychology or related fields. Competitive benefits and tuition assistance available.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with at least one year driving experience.
Six months related work experience OR a Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in psychology, social work, or related field.

Responsibilities

Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect observational data.
Assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, meals, money management, and housekeeping.
Provide personal care and supervision; support goal achievement and transition to less restrictive housing.
Accompany individuals to medical appointments and community outings; provide safe transportation.
Address problem behaviors using approved crisis techniques and follow Bancroft standards.
Complete paperwork and maintain regular documentation; communicate with residents, families and guardians.
