Job summary

Good Samaritan in Superior, NE is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care under RN supervision. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, meals, mobility, and documentation while following care plans and infection control policies.

Evening shifts are 8 hours with 24 hours per week, every other weekend and rotating holidays. Requires CNA certification or progress toward it; prior long-term care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining certification.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and assist with health care needs under RN supervision.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and range of motion activities.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes; communicate changes to nursing staff.
