Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the Main OR PreOp/PACU, a high-acuity department in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role supports both PreOp and PACU care with a 24/7 nursing team, serving inpatient and outpatient surgical patients.

Graduates with BSN are preferred; incumbents must obtain BSN within five years of hire. A Michigan license and BLS are required, with varied evening shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• BSN required within five years of hire/transfer to RN role.
• Current Michigan Nursing License and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• View patients holistically and consider physical, psychosocial, emotional, age-specific, cultural and spiritual factors.
• Assess patients with appropriate clinical skills.
• Apply critical thinking to analyze information and plan care.
• Develop and revise an individualized plan of care using evidence-based interventions.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning.
