Job summary

Graham Packaging Company seeks a Production Specialist for 2nd shift (2:00 PM-10:00 PM, Mon-Fri) in West Chicago, IL. Responsibilities include packing, inspection, and general factory tasks while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will support line operations, train new staff, and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable attendance required.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Must work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follow, and enforce safety, health, quality GMP policies.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and related work.
• Visually inspect finished product and ensure cases sealed.
• Pack bottles according to customer specs.
• Operate case making equipment safely and maintain glue tanks.
• Keep work area clean, orderly and safe.
• Complete written documentation as required.
• Assist in training permanent and temporary workforce.
