Job summary

Opus Packaging in Whitestown, IN is seeking a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift. You will set up and run a specialty corrugated machine, read production orders, and ensure product quality through adjustments and inspections.

Ideal candidates have 18+ and a high school diploma, plus basic measurement skills. We offer medical/vision/dental, 401k, PTO, production and safety bonuses, and shoe reimbursement on day one.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Experience in warehouse or packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a specialty corrugated machine.
• Read and interpret production orders and customer requirements.
• Adjust machine for glue application, folding, alignment, and quality.
• Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
• Monitor speeds and reduce downtime via troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation of production and quality data.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams.
• Follow safety policies and housekeeping standards.
